HELMET WIPER : KTU MINI PROJECT 

•Helmet wiper is used to remove the rainwater from the helmet glass

•Wiper works in the to and fro motion in the glass.

•Reciprocal motors are used to work in the helmet wiper.

•Rechargable battery are used in the helmet wiper

•Both electric and solar charging. 

Introduction

          •Helmet wiper help the  bike riders to see their path clearly during the heavy rain too Their by road accidents can be also reduced too. The Wiper used  in Helmet is made by transparent materials.  It move to and fro motion in high velocity , so it doesn’t irritate the eyes of the bike rider.

WORKING

        •The working of the helmet wiper is similar to car wiper. But the material and system used is different. When the helmet wiper is switched on, the reciprocating motor get started its working. It is attched to the wiper and the wiper started the to and fro motion. It is bolt on wiper kit that attches on to your helmet visor via clamps and suction cups . Their by rainwater can be moved to both end and clear the vision for the motor biker.  

The battery used is rechargeable type and can be charged both by electrical and solar charging. The wiper unit is comprised of a 2mm thick rubber wiper that has adjustable speeds and can be operated via bar-mounted switches. The system also offers a ‘visor clean’ ability, meaning riders only need to press a button to activate a water sprinkler and the wiper to clean the visor in similar fashion to a car windscreen sprinkle-and-wipe action.

Conculation

        •Helmet wiper is more effiective in the rainy time .For additional features we can use the  rain sensors thereby we can automatically sence the rain and wiper started its work . When the rainstops it recoginze and stop its work. Helmet wiper is effective to reduce accident during the heavy rain time by lack of vision
